Best Camera Setup for YouTube Content Creation
Posted by Emily Rodriguez • 1 hour ago
I'm starting a photography tutorial YouTube channel and need advice on a good camera setup. Looking for something that can handle both high-quality video for tutorials and still photos for examples. Autofocus during video is crucial. Budget is around $3000 for the body and main lens. Any recommendations?

The Canon R6 would be perfect for your needs. Great autofocus for video, excellent image quality, and the RF 24-70mm f/2.8 lens would give you versatility for both photos and videos. The combo is slightly above budget but worth saving for.
Consider the Sony A7 IV. Amazing autofocus, great for both stills and video, and you could pair it with the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 to stay within budget. I use this setup for my channel and it's been fantastic.
Don't forget about lighting! Even the best camera won't help if your lighting isn't good. I'd suggest allocating some budget for a basic lighting setup too.
