Mirrorless vs DSLR in 2025: Is it Still a Debate?

With all the advancements in mirrorless cameras, is there still a reason to consider DSLRs in 2025? I'm particularly interested in battery life and autofocus performance comparisons. Would love to hear from photographers who've made the switch or those who still prefer DSLRs.

Made the switch to mirrorless last year (Canon R6) and haven't looked back. The EVF took some getting used to, but now I love seeing exposure changes in real-time. Battery life is manageable with a couple of spares.

Still using my Nikon D850 and loving it. Yes, mirrorless has advantages, but DSLRs still have better battery life and there's something about an optical viewfinder that I prefer. Plus, used DSLR prices are great now!
