Photo Storage and Backup Solutions

Looking for advice on a reliable backup system for photos. I've had some close calls with hard drive failures and want to set up a proper backup solution. Currently have about 4TB of photos. What's your backup strategy?

I use a 3-2-1 backup strategy: 3 copies of data, 2 different media types, 1 offsite. Main storage on my PC, backup to a Synology NAS, and cloud backup using Backblaze. Has saved me multiple times!
Consider using Amazon Photos if you have Prime. Unlimited full-res photo storage, and the AI categorization is surprisingly good. I pair this with a local NAS for redundancy.
Don't forget about working storage vs archive storage. I keep recent projects on fast SSDs, then move completed projects to larger, cheaper HDDs for archive.
